Chaps, (and chapesess just to be PC)!
Does anyone know of a university, UK based if possible, at which I can study for my BSc via distance learning? Usual suspects are out like OU etc. De Monfort don't do it. Any ideas? ?
Looked on the training link but can't immediately see one which will fit the bill.
Whitecap,
Do you need to go for a BSc or might you qualify for extrance to an MSc course? There seems to be more choice with MSc courses and they can usually be completed in less time.
Alternatively CompTia or Microsoft certification might be a cheaper, faster option and will probably provide you with better skills at the end of it for the bulk of the jobs in the UK.

Hi Steve,
Yes already considering the MSc track…..maybe Cranfield as I did the LE foundation there and that counts towards it. Already done the MCSA track (MCP) but might look to upgrade that soon.
Thanks for the feedback though.
I am on the same track as you whitecap but i'm looking for an MSc in Forensic's. Anyone happens to know a very good MSc in computer forensic's ?
The University of Strathclyde runs an MSc Forensic Informatics.
The course excellent, you spend some time in with the Chemists and the Biologists too. You even get to spend some time in court in a mock case.
Staffordshire University also provides an MSc course in Forensic Computing and I have seen comments on here from students who have done it.
Maybe they can add some detail for you.
Heres the link to the MSc information
