Someone should have spent 5 minutes with a forensic account, or even a proceeds of crime specialist, to learn how to link evidence to money.

Ouch. Sore topic.

Sounds very much like many MPAA, BSA and some old AT&T fraud cases.

I think the court vacated it properly.

Of course, it also sounds it was a sloppy job (isn't it always sloppy when we have 20/20 hindsight?) on covering loose ends by the LEs.

Please remember the cases I show are never identified to criticise anyone or any body, they are posted to help us improve and our skillsets. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Ten years ago i used to sniff the phone calls between two parties and the ability to get the convesation to talk to one of them, i am not sure if that case explain any idea !!??, but now with the SIM card i guss no way ??!!!
