Seems very intersting, I am glad that conference are becoming more popular in digital forensics. I am curious as I am a student if they will let me volunteer there and attend for free at the same time. Thanks for the post.
Anyone else going besides me?
I am going, hope to pick up a thing or to the pros here. couldn't afford more than the main event though.
This event was money very well spent.
2 days, and several hours of talking to like-minded individuals for $200.
Sam Brothers of US Customs made a presentation of Cell Phone and GPS tool classification system.
James Wiebe of WiebeTech talked about SSD and forensics around that.
Jeff Hayes of Cellebrite talked about the future of mobile forensics.
Rowen Engler of Cellebrite made a best practices presentation for smart phones.
Amber Schroader of Paraben talked about mobile devices with bi returns.
Bill Teel of Teel Tech talked about today's options for chip-off and JTAG data geathering
. . . and a couple of more.
I am definitely going next year, if the price stays the same.
Same, I hope speakers will post links to the slides. Wish I could have been in both rooms. . .
