Unfortunetly, no. That would have been awesome, though. It just listed time/date and to/from and type of message (MMS/SMS).
If you did that it should show up on the extraction.
Ie cellebrite will show you the phone number used and then match it with the name in your address book. If you changed the address book to reflect a different name and then sent the messages from your own number, your own number would be reflected in the text message.
Did you ask for it - sometimes they give you what they think you need, not necessarily everything that they hold

I wondered the same thing. It makes me resent answering questions for people openly on the forum which anyone can see when there are some folks that don't. The forum is supposed to support knowledge sharing, if you don't want to share why not just PM the other person in the first place.

- TomPDon't rule out the simple option that the recipient of the threatening messages may have saved their own number under the senders name. They could then have written the messages to them self. The handset would present them in both an incoming and outgoing format. The person could then delete the duplications and it would look like a conversation with that named person.

Hi,
Having modified photograph metadata on iOS without jailbreaking, I am pretty certain that SMS can also be edited. I don't want to post the method here but PM me and I would be glad to test my method for you.
Cheers
David
