My license is up for renewal for the the Norton that shipped on one of my forensic workstations, and I'm probably going to replace it with something else.
What are you using for anti-virus and anti-malware on your workstations? I want something that is easy to configure to ignore my evidence, cache, and temporary drives but will still protect the system drive and allow me to run virus scans against files I export from a case.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
For me ESET is second to none. I am currently using Smart Security v6 and it is hands down the best security product I have used to date. Before I was using Panda which is also good.
Avast Pro on my workstations. Jotti also great for individual files.
i use Microsoft security essentials and malwarebytes antimalware Pro.
For the last 10 years I have invested in using Sophos, excellent software never let me down, most councils and LE I know of use this.

I've used Avira Personal for years and it has worked great for me, plus it is free. The one downside to it is that because it is free it has a popup asking you to buy the "Premium" version. I've never had any problems with the free personal version.
