ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Technology - Senior Consultant, based in the London Office
PRIMARY DUTIES:
The primary responsibility of this position is related to data processing, loading, converting, quality assurance, tracking and management of client data.
• Assume responsibility for day-to-day data processing, conversion, analysis, quality control, import and other specialised tasks including interaction with other consultants, supervisors and client personnel.
• Coordinate closely with colleagues within and across teams to manage the delivery of client requirements.
• Manage any project related queries and issues and provide solutions/workarounds
• Liaise and communicate on a daily basis with other teams and manage expectations on client requests.
• Customer service oriented to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary.
• Conduct internal training sessions to consultants.
• Actively involved in providing product enhancement feedback and coordinating the deployment of tools and processes to the UK team.
• Coordinate closely with colleagues within and across teams to manage the delivery of client requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Solid experience of working in an e-Discovery or technology related role.
• Familiarity with personal computer and server hardware, operating systems and software.
• 2:1 degree in a technology focused subject such as computer science, forensic computing or information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in using SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in processing data in Nuix or equivalent processing platform.
• Familiarity of data manipulation using MS Access and Excel.
• Self-developer that demonstrates an ability to solve complex problems with well thought out innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both internally and externally.
• Flexible with working hours and has the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
• Working knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
• Displays an ability to work independently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
• Demonstrates an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Manages time and prioritises tasks effectively.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Knowledge/Familiarity with Nuix scripting but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of programming (C++, Java, Visual Basic, PERL, Ruby).
• Knowledge of Review platforms such as Ringtail, concordance but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with EnCase.
• Litigation support experience.
