Generate a report with Adroit and it will show you all manner of information along with the photo.

Thanx a lot BitHead for a suggestion.
Anyway, if I understand correctly what is described on its home site, it doesn't create a timeline but only shows information about data (
Also its price 2k $ can kill my budget D

If you read the Features page you will see the following
Photo Grouping/Filtering
Photo specific grouping based on camera, EXIF Date stamps etc.
Standard grouping based on File name, date, size etc.
Enhanced Timeline grouping based on file modification/creation/access or EXIF dates.

While it may not fit your budget I did believe it met your needs for timeline.

If I understand your question correctly Reconnoitre can do this for you. Its designed to work with images (and disks/volumes) but it would be easy to drop your images on a thumb drive and parse…

If the exif data contains GPS coordinates then Reconnoitre will also show where the pictures were taken (requires internet connection)

You can download a demo from the link below and see if it fits your needs. Please email if you have any specific questions
