It would appear that things haven't changed too much in the last 12 months.

I have a Nokia Lumia 920 and I can only get media from it with UFED, what I really need is the SMS and call records.

Anyone had any luck with this model?

I believe it may be possible to obtain a physical image using JTAG method(s)?

I have not come across this model yet, however the previous Lumia's required a manual exam.

So far I have had some luck on the logical side with Paraben's Device Seizure, but limited so get your camera ready. I understand that XRY has Windows 8 Support. Cellebrite (UFED TOUCH) also has logical support (limited as well), however, it now lists File System support, I'll have to give that a try myself. I haven't tried Secure View 3 with the Physical option.

Worse case scenario you could try the Windows Phone application

You can also look into the Software Development side.

Apparently there is support for Windows 8 with the Secure View Physical component. Not sure if that will apply to Nokia though or not. I will have to try it out at some point as well.

I've done a Lumia 925 recently. The 920 has similar hardware, so should be doable.
