eForensic Technician - Cheshire Constabulary.

eForensic Technician opportunity - Cheshire Constabulary.

I have recently received some 'one-line' applications, from what appear to be suitably qualified people, but they have let themselves down with little or no evidence of experience, skills and qualities for the role.

Cheshire Constabulary was founded in 1857 and is now responsible for policing nearly a million people. There are approximately 2,081 regular Police Officers, 220 Police Community Support Officers and 1,464 civilian Police Staff.

Description

To provide evidence for investigation officers secured from computers and storage media in a manner acceptable to the courts, and to assist with any hi-tech elements to criminal investigations.

Educated to level 5 of the QCF in Computer Science, Forensic Computing, or equivalent; or can evidence some experience in this area of business to a high level.

A pass certificate in Core Skills in Data Recovery (Police College), qualification is desirable; however there will be a requirement for any post holder to pass and maintain this qualification within the first year should they not have, and maintenance of on-going professional development and training courses.
