Hi all.
We have a load of old cables for all sorts of phones. Some are USB and some are FBUS. We are talking hundreds here. Please don't ask me to list them, it ain't happening.
If they don't get taken then I will have to dispose of them which I will hate to do. I hate waste but I also dislike hoarding.
We also have lots of chargers for many different models.
Finally, we have about 400 RTL Access Cards and about 100 of the 3-type cards.

Anyone interested? They must be good to someone. I was hoping someone from abroad where older mobile phones (non-smartphones) were still in the majority would be interested.

Best case wins.

Maybe you could uplòoad somewhere a picture or two, so that people may uinderstand vaguely what you are talking about.

Same as above, a couple photographs might be of use.

Finally, we have about 400 RTL Access Cards and about 100 of the 3-type cards.

What is a "RTL access card"?
What is a "3-type card"?

Anyone interested? They must be good to someone. I was hoping someone from abroad where older mobile phones (non-smartphones) were still in the majority would be interested.

Best case wins.

I mean, if you are targeting someone from abroad, you may want to use a more "plain" English, describe better the whatever you are going to give away.

I don't understand what you don't understand.

I do understand and know what they are

  • USB phone cables
  • FBUS phone cables
  • phone chargers

)
I do not understand (I don't know WHAT they are)

  1. RTL access card
  2. 3-type card
  3. [/listo]
    (
Since I am not based in UK, nor mother tongue English, I can be considered a sample of "someone abroad", and I was curious to learn what those two items are, while letting you know how most probably "anyone abroad" would not be able to understand what those are.

Forgive me, I thought that Radio Tactics were well known.
Here is a link to explain the access cards. http//www.radio-tactics.com/products/technology-/handset-access-cards . It's essentially a single use clone SIM but you need their cloning hardware too which I don't have. Actually I may have. I'll look again tomorrow.
The "3-card" is a system where you clone the card three times - one to work with, one for another examiner to use (if challenged) and one for the legal team I think. You keep one copy and the other two stay with the exhibit. I know, very much over kill. I don't know if this system is still being used by anyone.

I realise I have generalised (and offended) by using the term "abroad". I apologise. I meant developing countries.

Thanks for your interest.

I don't think you offended anyone ) , thanks for clarifying.
I was aware of the concept of "forensic sim card", but the "3-card" approach was news to me, thanks.

I don't know if you've already gotten rid of these items but I'll take them if you haven't! I live in the US, Arkansas. Thank you. Please email me at e4nzix at live dot com.

Hi, yes still available and under my desk limiting my legroom!
The next issue is that it will cost quite a lot to ship from the UK. Rough guess - you are looking at about 30lbs of kit. If you are ok with that I will try and get a quote for you. Let me know.
Thanks.
