Director of Digital Forensics Analyst - London - Required

As Director of Digital Forensic and Intelligence Laboratories you will lead on the development of our strategic vision for the growth of our digital capability and ensure that the digital forensic service supports the wider strategic objectives of CMA. You will develop a strategy for the delivery of a portfolio of digital services to teams across the CMA, promoting the highest professional standards, exploring new technology and opportunities while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. You will manage a team of around ten people and offer the leadership and direction to support professional development. You will represent the CMA externally in relation to digital forensic services and, as part of the management team within our Cartels and Criminal Group, you will you will also play a key management role in the Group ensuring the effective deployment of resources by giving staff the right tools, skills and support to deliver high quality work.
You should have extensive experience within digital forensic services in a criminal or regulatory environment. We expect that you will have a high degree of IT expertise, with a track record in providing advice and evidence on digital forensic material and a thorough knowledge of the marketplace for digital solutions in this area of work. Your technical expertise should be supported by strong general management and leadership skills, enabling you to lead a team to provide exceptional, timely and high quality digital forensic services and work well in partnership with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. Confident liaising and influencing at a senior level, you will promote high standards of customer service and a commitment to continuous service improvement.
