Hi everyone,

Forensic Focus is currently putting together a survey of digital forensics professionals, which will be sent out over the next few days.

I'm just putting the final touches to the survey and thought I'd see if you have any suggestions for questions we should be asking?

All suggestions welcome! Feel free to either include them here or email scar at forensicfocus.com

Thanks,
Scar

It depends what the survey is about really.

Are you trying to find out about working environments? Preferred tools? About the person themselves, etc.

Without knowing what you want to get out of the survey, any question suggestions anyone made could be totally useless )

Good point, robm! (My apologies, it's morning here in London and I haven't had all the required coffee yet.)

The survey is largely so that we can get to know our readers better, and understand what we can include on Forensic Focus that will be of use to the community. We already have several questions covering these topics, but since the survey will be going out to a large group of people, it's an opportunity to perhaps do some preliminary research on other subjects of interest, such as (for example) the psychological impact of coming across disturbing imagery in investigations.

Essentially, my question is If you had the opportunity to send one or two questions to a large portion of the digital forensics community, what would you want to ask them?

Hope that makes sense! Off to caffeinate some more…
