Hello everybody,

I'm doing some tests with the Cellebrite UFED Touch and I need to install a spying app such as a keylogger which is able to register and/or send every message or movement done using the phone.

Do you know a free one?

And for iPhone?

Thanks!

Try Cerberus for Android.

You probably will not find one for iOS because this would only work on a jaikbroken device.

Have you tried it?

It is not cheap, it is 88 euros per year (the basic one).

and I am sure there are tons of opposite examples that PA detects and others don't.
There are different variants and it depends what the engine is looking for.

RonS is right!

For best results use as many forensic programs as possible, with all their strengths and weaknesses, don't expect a single program to be able to cover everything globally.

What kind of dump did you use? It only makes sense to use a physical dump. If you just use an android backup you will never detect all spyware because apps can exempt themselves from the backup service.

I have had cases with malware going so deep into the system that you couldn't even erase it of you reset the phone and wipe all user data (as this typically only resets the user data and cache partition).
