Senior Manager - Forensic Technology - London
Using a wide variety of technical and sector-specific skills, our clients Risk and Compliance group proactively helps clients increase profits whilst reducing reputational, operational, financial and other risks. They are highly experienced in managing diverse issues including fraud, regulatory compliance, risk frameworks and modelling, capital efficiency, corporate governance, dispute resolution, deriving value from contracts and much more.
Technology - Their clients need to deal effectively with technology related risks and derive maximum value from data and documentation. Their specialists provide independent, jargon free advice and advanced technology capabilities to help thier clients proactively manage their technology risks and use their data to its full potential.
Roles and Responsibilities
The group specialises in the forensic capture and analysis of electronic media. Typical cases involve the capture of data from both computers and networks, and its analysis in support of the litigation and investigation groups within Forensic Technology.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the FTech team with forensic disk imaging and the searches of imaged data
The publication of search results for analysis by the relevant investigation teams
Managing and overseeing data collection and analysis workstreams
Assisting the team with the building of environments to allow for electronic data to be examined using specialist forensic tools
Undertaking product research for the team and assisting with the maintenance of the computer forensics' evidence logs and databases
Develop and maintain contacts to support the growth of the Ftech business offering
Provide support and advice on all computer based investigation aspects
The production of technical forensic computing reports
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should have extensive experience in Forensic Computing and the use of Forensic Computing applications including EnCase, FTK and Helix Pro
A good all round knowledge of PC-based systems, including hardware and basic Windows operating skills
Experience and Background
e-discovery knowledge and experience
Forensic investigation experience
Best practice procedures for the preservation and analysis of electronic evidence
The production of technical forensic computing reports and witness statements
Evidence handling procedures
Understanding Network Infrastructure and the identification of potential evidence sources
Document control
The ability to focus on detail, work methodically and to be able to communicate effectively with others
Demonstrate ability to work within a team environment and project manage assignments
