Job Title Regional Investigations Manager
Degree Level Bachelors
Country Asia / Southeast Asia / Australia / NZ

Job Responsibilities / Qualifications

The Regional Investigations Manager position is a customer-facing consulting role within the Verizon Investigative Response (VzB-IR) team, reporting directly to the group Regional Managing Principal. The Investigations Manager plays three key functions within the team:

a) Primary escalation point for all customer-facing matters, including but not limited to delivery;

b) On-site and remote support of Open & Active casework as deemed necessary;

c) Operations management spanning all Open & Active engagements.

In a) the Regional Investigations Manager is the first point of contact for all field and Labs investigators, as well as other team members requiring immediate escalation support. In this case, escalation spans both customer-facing and internal matters directly relating to delivery. Appropriate candidates for the role must possess the IT investigations experience and precedent necessary to provide immediate support to Regional VzB-IR personnel as needed to ensure delivery obligations are met in a satisfactory manner. In this capacity, the Regional Investigations Manager must be one of the team's most capable consultants.

For b) In addition to escalation-handling, the Regional Investigations Manager is positioned to oversee delivery in a regional capacity. As deemed necessary, the Regional Investigations Manager may become directly involved in engagement delivery in either an on-site or remote support capacity to ensure successful delivery.

For c) the Regional Investigations Manager oversees all aspects of Open & Active case management, making the position ideally suited to ensure smooth operations. The Regional Investigations Manager is responsible for coordinating with business operations personnel, ensuring that all contracts are properly booked, all billable hours and expenses are correctly entered into company record keeping systems and are invoiced appropriately. The Regional Investigations Manager will be involved in creation and updating pre and post sales processes as needed. In addition, the Regional Investigations Manager will act as the escalation point for any situations involving contracts, booking, hours and expenses and billing. The Regional Investigations Manager will act as the liaison with company business units involved with the contract, booking, hours and expenses record keeping and billing for Investigative Response engagements.

Qualifications: The candidate should speak and write English fluently. Outstanding (MS) Office skills as well as a sense of accuracy and timeliness are essential. Given the various responsibilities of the position, the ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of project management, metrics and review. The Regional Investigations Manager must have extensive experience in investigating and managing investigations including electronic digital investigations. The Regional Investigations Manager must also be able to perform well under time pressure. Candidate should be self-motivated, with proven organizational, relationship building and presentation skills and must be able to travel overnight (approximately 25%) of the time.

Candidate must minimally possess an undergraduate degree (BS).
Additional Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have prior experience in tracking projects in a consulting or investigation environment. Affinity with the payment card industry, financial industry and security/technology are preferred. Previous law enforcement experience is preferred.
