Ar you planning to attend "The Evidence Conference"?

I am interested in the “Digital and Mobile Device Forensics Track”. At $200, I think it is a good deal.

Validation/Accreditation of Digital Forensics
Authenticating Audio /Video Files
Smartphone App Analyses
Social Networking / File Sharing/Forums
Challenges of Wireless Networking
GPS Forensics / Cell Phone Tracking/Legal issues
Cloud Forensics Issues /Trends (Jurisdiction)
Windows Registry Analysis
Collecting / Packaging Digital Devices/Evidence
Digital File Recovery Tools
Live System Triage
Scientific Validation of Digital Forensics
The Future of Digital Forensics

Seems very intersting, I am glad that conference are becoming more popular in digital forensics. I am curious as I am a student if they will let me volunteer there and attend for free at the same time. Thanks for the post.

This event was money very well spent.

2 days, and several hours of talking to like-minded individuals for $200.

Sam Brothers of US Customs made a presentation of Cell Phone and GPS tool classification system.
James Wiebe of WiebeTech talked about SSD and forensics around that.
Jeff Hayes of Cellebrite talked about the future of mobile forensics.
Rowen Engler of Cellebrite made a best practices presentation for smart phones.
Amber Schroader of Paraben talked about mobile devices with bi returns.
Bill Teel of Teel Tech talked about today's options for chip-off and JTAG data geathering

. . . and a couple of more.

I am definitely going next year, if the price stays the same.

Same, I hope speakers will post links to the slides. Wish I could have been in both rooms. . .
