I know a guy with the Washington State Gambling Commission. If you want I 'll touch bases with him and see if he is willing to help you out.

Hi everyone, recently we are facing difficulties of examining slot machines or gambling machines, could somebody share with us experiences, tools, programs and methods you have used?

Your question is a every "wide" one, maybe you can get better help if you can narrow it a little to some specific manufacturer/model/version, as recommended in:

2. Give as much information as you can about the problem. Most people are very willing to help but it can be frustrating if there are obvious gaps which need to be filled before they can do so. Describe the general context of the situation, explain something about your own background or experience if relevant, describe any hardware or software in detail (including version numbers) etc. The more information you can give, the more likely you are to get a useful reply.

I guess slot machines and gambling machines are EXACTLY the same and ALL slot machines and gambling machines in existence are EXACTLY the same make/model and run the same EXACT software/OS on the same EXACT firmware on the same EXACT hardware, right?

Very specialized field. CF people aren't going to do an effective job. You need a retired guy from somewhere like IGT.
Just like trying to examine cars, CF people think it has electronics, I know I can hook encase up and hit acquire.
Farm that job out and maybe stay on as a liaison or something like that.
