Cell Phone Forensics Product Announcement |

 May 8, 2006 – Concord, MA, -- Project-a-Phone, Inc. announced today that it will introduce its system for gathering cell phone forensic evidence to the law enforcement community at the Silicon Valley meeting of HTCIA in Santa Clara. The Project-a-Phone system combines hardware and software to let users capture screen shots or audio and video recordings of a handheld screen and save them on a computer. By displaying the phone screen image in real-time on a computer, it also makes it possible to present evidence through a projector or over the Web...
Project-a-Phone is already being used by leading cell phone forensics experts and training organizations across North America, including Mobile Forensics, Inc. (MFI) and SEARCH – the National Consortium for Justice Information and Statistics. MFI instructor Karl Dunnagan described Project-a-Phone as, “an easy to use piece of hardware. Its compact size makes it easy to handle and pack up with you on the road. It even comes in its own hard plastic carrying case. The software is straight forward and easy to use as well.†Keith Daniels of SEARCH concurred that, “it is a compact self contained tool that will save investigators considerable time in cell phone forensics.â€
