Course length

3 years full time, 4 years part time


Course description

Students have the opportunity to attend special events organised through BCS, IISP and E-Crime Wales. All students will have access to the most up to date equipment for conducting computer forensic investigations. Work Placements at our industrial partners are available between the second and third year. The course contains elements of specialised training for expert witness and legal skills and includes participation in industrial and academic research projects in the third year of the degree.

Admissions and entry requirements

Entry requirements are usually 260 UCAS points to include at least 160 points from two 6 units or one 12 unit award. GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent. Qualifications such as a BTEC National Diploma, Scottish Highers etc. Access/Foundation course qualifications are also accepted.
