Founded in 1922, Walsh College is metro Detroit's only all-business college. The College offers upper-division undergraduate and graduate business and technology degree and certificate programs to 4,600 students in Troy, Novi, Harper Woods, Port Huron, and Clinton Township, as well as online. Walsh College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (www.ncahlc.org) and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education IACBE (www.iacbe.org).
Walsh College is a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance and offers a Master of Science in Information Assurance with a specialization in digital forensics as well as graduate level certificates in Digital Forensics, CISO, Compliance, Governance and Audit and Information Assurance.
This graduate certificate will build on previously obtained knowledge. Students will be prepared to build and support an incident response program for an organization through the completion of this certification. The goal of the certificate will be to prepare students to assist organizations with their digital forensics and investigative needs while acquiring the knowledge that will prepare them to take the CFE certification exam.
Admissions and entry requirements
Available to individuals holding a bachelor's or master's degree.
OR
Applicants must provide documented competency in the area of computer security; a minimum of one of the following is required:
- Security+ Certification
- CIW Security Certification
- Network+ Certification
- Microsoft Certification (MCSA, MCSE)
- Novell Certification (CNA, CNE, MCNE)
- CISCO Certifications (CCNA, CCNE, CCIE)
OR
Two years of verifiable professional-level, full-time work experience in network design/development/administration or information assurance.
OR
Successfully complete BIT 526 Enterprise Network Architectures with a grade of "C" (2.000) or better
And
