Hello.

I'm wondering whether anyone can give me any advice. I recently graduated from Portsmouth University with a 21 result with a publishable dissertation narrowly missing a 1st class honors in computing . I have also completed an HND in computing with a distinction grade. It is/was my intention to study a further year at Cranfield University to gain a masters qualification in forensic computing. I feel, this way, with such a qualification in such a specialized subject it will enhance my chances of embarking on a successful career in this field and there for be more desirable to future employees.

What possibilities are there of sponsorship for such a course at such a renowned and respected university?

What are people knowledge of cranfield university within the uk?

do you feel i am going the right way about things?

Thanks for reading this message

Did you undertake any work placements with any companies whilst at university that may be interested in sponsoring you?

Have you tried approaching any of the companies/government agencies that are of interest to you in the long term and enquired with them?

To my knowledge Cranfield University is a highly respected institution and their qualifications will therefore possess a high degree of credibility.

One potential problem could possibly be the age old conundrum of being highly qualified but possessing little or no experience, which may or may not apply to you. Maybe take a break from academia for a while to gain some experience?
