Getting started In the UK

Post Posted: Nov 08, 05 00:47

Hello Everyone;

First off i would like to say that i've been searching for a website like this for nearly 3 months -on and off- and it was well worth the wait, i've already gained a very good insite into the world of Digital Forensic's.

I'm a second year undergraduate studing Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, and i've been looking for inroads to Digital Forensic's for about 6 months and was wondering if anyone here could give me some pointers, particulary if anyone knows any company in the Uk who takes graduates.

Many thanks

Hey,
I've just graduated with a degree in computer science from a scottish uni. From the job searching I have done there seems to be a few jobs based in London and the midlands that might tke on a graduate.

I've been trying to find jobs that aren't too far from me and so far the only things I have seen are working as a support staff doing computer forensics for the police but I have yet to find any vacancies in this area.

I also spoke to someone at GCHQ at a recruitment fair who mentioned that they also have graduates who are trained in this area.

I'd also appreciate if anyone else could offer some more advice and information on this topic.
