I have recently received a Twister Flasher Box, with its SaraSoft software, i have never used any flasher boxes before. however i think flasher boxes are used to flash updates and upgrades to phones or even unlock them.

I was wondering i could take a physical extraction off a Nokia 101 using sarasoft, however i don't know how its done, and then read it with PA.

Can anyone guide me?

You can use a twisterbox cable in combination with XRY or UFED, I don't have experience with sarasoft.
I assume it is an twister bix cable with a RJ45 connector. Use the xry/ufed usb to RJ45 cable and attach the phone. Some phone get in local mode (shows in display) other just dont give any message on the screen. With the phone connected you can extract the info just like any other phone.
Cheers D

If I remember correctly the SaraSoft software while supporting a number of Nokia handset's is currently not able to do anything with the model you have listed. The model exists in the software but I have tried multiple times with different cable and handset combinations and been unable to acquire anything from the device. I have always had to resort to the Ocularis v1.0. Even trying to use XRY I had issues, however there have been a couple of updates to XRY since I last tried so this may have changed, however, I would think at this point only for a logical examination if it works at all.

You would only be able to read the PM tables anyway with SaraSoft if it was possible as currently there is no way I am aware of to get a full dump of the device.

I'd check the cable that you're using. We've been extracting PM records from this model using HWK (SaraSoft) and XRY for about a year.

Nokia 101 is XGold platform. Only USB connection is possible. SaraSoft is useless for that phone.

Has Nokia given the same name to more than one phone again? The 101s I've seen have been of the RH-131 variety.

Edit I've just checked XRY, which supports the RM-769 via service cable.

Coligulus, the dude polar is right , i've tried to used a 101 cable that comes with the twister flasher in combination with the XRY RJ-45 + hardware tools and i had a successful physical extraction.

NOTE* the phone will remain off and have no sign what so ever that it is ready for extraction, just try the XRY software a couple of times and it should work fine.

Yeah, if he chimes in, chances are pretty high whatever he says can be taken as gospel.

Thanks Polar
