Hello everyone,

I am currently interested in attending a video forensics training but not in "USA" .

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks.

It would be helpful to know what country(ies) you are interested in finding education. LEVA does travel to other countries occasionally.

But that being said, your best bet is to travel to America and get some of the training here. I've been through several LEVA courses and many people from the EU come there because there are not many better options. (especially for professional level courses)

A Big chunk of Video Forensics is understanding your tools and how to use them, ie. Vendor Training. (AVID, Amp5, Adobe etc). Those might be a good place to start as well. If you find some feel free to post them here for others to see.

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply, i have indeed attended LEVA 1 LEVA 2 courses and know the instructors personally. It is the finest video forensics courses and i would recommend everyone to go to one of their courses.

However being in the middle east the U.S is quiet far from here which makes you consider it twice therefor i was wondering if any countries in EU has the same capabilities.

Thanks.

It might be worth a shot and email Larry Compton and see if he is doing anything in the EU. If you had LEVA 2 you probably had him at some point.

Great! I have just sent him an email to check whether or not something is happening in Europe.

Thank you very much!

Hi there,
The link to DMEForensics is Jimmy Schroering’s company. He is the guy behind DVRExaminer and a few other popular software applications for Forensic Video Analysis.

Larry is Larry Compton. He is the guy behind DMEResources.com He is also the Tech expert for Ocean Systems and is one of the main trainers in their products.
The two company names are similar, and I have typed them wrong in the past when referring to one or another.

Anyways… If you do require bespoke or cutting edge training – either Amped Software related (Im the International Trainer for Amped), or other FVA courses then just drop me a message and we can continue via email.

All the best,
Spready
