Hi all,

I have an Alcatel (unknown model) Android phone that is PIN protected, that I have a need to unlock and examine. I don't know of any vulnerabilities for the device, so I'm not sure how I can root/jail break it. I'm open to any & all suggestions, that can get me access to the device, so that I can discover who the owner is. It was dropped at a crime scene.

Thanks!

First of all - check what "unknown model" you got exactly and paste here model ? There are many options to get data from phone but all depends of model you got.

The phone is very generic. There are no markings, no writing, no information of any kind on the phone. When it's powered on, it says "Alcatel powered by Android", immediately followed by "A service of TracFone Wireless, Inc." Removing the case and battery, I see that it says, "TracFone Wireless, Inc" MODEL A466BG" on the label.
