What Are Your Hobbies?
What Are Your Hobbies?
Posted: Tue Mar 15, 2016 10:36 am
Whilst privacy and security are important (especially considering our jobs), it still might be nice to get to know each other a little better. I'm sure many of us have interests outside of digital forensics!
So, what are your hobbies? What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Personally, I'm a fan of:
- Reading (crime fiction, psychology, philosophy, physics)
- Star Trek (and hold the controversial opinion that Voyager is the best Trek)
- Singing (soprano in my local choir, and what I call "punk-folk", aka my own creations)
Your turn!

Hi, so I know this post is old but I thought why not still give it a go.
One of my hobbies is graphic design so I spend a bit of my free time playing around in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Also watching tutorials and taking online graphic design classes.
I also do a bit of webdesign and development, I especially live dabbling in PHP

I collect old hard drives. Here is one of them. It is 8 inch hard drive. It has weight 21 kg.

Omar, I'm jealous, I've always wanted to be good at design!
Igor, your hobby sounds interesting. Where do you get your old hard drives from? I seem to accidentally collect dead computers - people are always giving me their old broken machines. Less of a hobby in my case and more of an affliction though...

Good day everyone!
From the old hard disk, you can extract both niodymium magnets and apply them in various variations
From the old hard drive you can make a mini emery
Best Wishes,
V

@Igor
With all due respect
, you spoiled some of the effect putting a full 3.5" drive next to your "mammouth", using a microdrive like :

would have been more dramatic...
