Posted: Sat Jul 01, 2017 1:41 am
Hi all,
I have a Forensic Workstation having ASUS X99-E Motherboard in which the Front Panel Ports like USB 3.0 Port and Hard Drive bays Goes offline automatically after some time. First time its detected the HDD and USB but After few minutes, I manually scanned the Ports and then HDD and USB detected Successfully.

Could be some power management feature that need to be disabled - or it just may be faulty, have you tried with another workstation/computer? Tried drives/usb devices on other machines?
This is more of a support question that you should take up with your vendor.

Is there any specific power management settings for Workstation. I already mailed to the vendor.
