Good Evening!

I am trying to assist my Aunt with recovering her Facebook password but to no avail. When trying to reset her password/account, she no longer has access to the email she signed up with. Likewise, there is no phone number to contact someone at Facebook for assistance.

Is there any password cracker/hacker that would work? No, she didn't write her password down or use 2-factor authentication.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated….searching these forums I haven't found anything as of yet. If all else fails, I will just have her create a brand new account.

Thank you for your help.

Beth

Hi Beth,

What do you do for a living.
Just curious, you have 1 post in 3 years, and that is an odd request.

I think she will have to just have to create a new account whether she likes it or not.

I just graduated from school with my BS in Computer Forensics. Was interning at a local DA office but was diagnosed with Cancer. Forgot I had an account with this page, that's why I haven't used it.

AFAIK facebook would ask your aunt for a legal document, like a Citizen ID card, passport to prove that she owns that account with other questions proving that she had access to that account at some point. Or you could always sign up for a new account.

Actually, Facebook wouldn't care, even if it is more serious A family member got a FB account hijacked, i reported it and - nothing. Reported it again, and.. well, it was like trying to get a response from a brick wall.

I am still recovering from major surgery I had in January of this year. Hoping to find an entry level job but I do not have a lot of experience. I will be self-teaching myself forensic tools to refresh myself on them, as well as webinars. Thus far, I have 2 years experience doing admin work at my local DA office, with some work aiding the State Police with basic forensic work (wiping drives, updating software, etc).

Any suggestions on how I can upgrade my resume skills is greatly appreciated!
