Foregenix is an independent, specialised information security business, headquartered in the United Kingdom, with a global service delivery capability. We specialise in forensic investigations, information security and data discovery of electronic payments and associated systems, providing services to a wide range of businesses with a focus on quality and professionalism.

In the role as an Incident Response Support Analyst, you will be an integral part of our growing Threat Intelligence Group. The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to become heavily involved in active investigations utilising our internally developed tools and supporting our forensics team as required. We provide on-the-job training to those with an aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities and Duties
As an Incident Response and Support Analyst, you will have a responsibility for reviewing telemetry on a daily basis and verifying, through research, legitimate or malicious processes. Additionally you will provide advice and support to clients regarding ongoing incidents and supporting other members of the Threat Intelligence and Forensics team in investigations as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Requirements:
At least a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Forensics or
1 year experience in an IT role, preferably network/security related
Fundamental knowledge of both Windows and Linux based systems
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical people, both in print and verbally
An aptitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work as part of a team but be relied upon to complete work independently
Ability to work directly from our Marlborough office

Desirable:
Understanding of network intrusion based investigations
Understanding of general system and network security
Scripting/programming knowledge
