Wickr helping law enforcement?

Post Posted: Oct 20, 18 07:23

Greetings!

Hope this post is in the correct sub-forum.

We are interested in wickr in one of our investigations. I have asked Wickr for help however yet to receive an answer. While reading through their law enforcement paper its clear that they are unwilling/unable to decrypt the messages as they are stored locally.

However I was hoping one of you had previous experience in contacting them and know the answer to the following question:

Can wickr see if two users has had contact (content is not important, not the point of contact either) on a specific date?

Thank you!

Great find! Seems like they wont be able to help then. I got two usernames but the date is well in the past. A positive response would solve a murder so it is indeed frustrating.
