does anyone know\think of a way to find if a WhatsApp web service has been activated on the device. from a device backup. going to WhatsApp options etc. is not possible.

preferably on iPhone devices. and iTunes backup. (not encrypted)

Not going to be of much use as I dont have an iOS device to test on, but I'm guessing it has to be stored somewhere as there is list of "Logged in devices" when I have the web interface opened on Android.

Whether this comes out in an iOS backup, encrypted backup, or full file system dump would require testing.

Do you have an iOS device to do some testing on?

I am working on an iPhone backup. and I can't find the file websession.db.
does that mean that the device never made a connection between WhatsApp web and the device?
