I am currently using Cellebrite Cloud Analyzer to grab public facing Facebook profiles. However, it leaves much to be desired. It is incapable of capturing sensible reports that display comments and likes of posts. I have Axiom as well but it seems it does not support public facing profiles - you have to have login credentials.

Does anyone have a tool in mind that they would like to suggest? I do not have X1 as I found the reports to be unruly in the past. Willing to give it another go if it is my only choice.

We routinely have the same problem. X1 continues to work but issues with reporting. Have you tried Tomoko Discovery? You can get a demo I think to see if it's what you are looking for. https://tomokodiscovery.com/

Magnet, Cellebrite and others need to get on this feature for their Cloud analysis. Not just for Facebook, but for all Cloud content. We don't always have access with full credentials, but the public information is needed.

Hey Nightworker,

Checked out your site and demo video. Product looks impressive and nicely packages up the evidence per tweet.

I couldn't find any pricing or link to download though.

Thansk for your care merriora; I send link as private message

I thought social media extraction should be like aquistion of hard drive with evidence container and hashes including screenshot without suspect password. My test values is % 1600 faster than other solutions i will prepare article.

I would gladly pay for X1 if they included pre-configured profiles for Facebook.

Axiom has the option to turn collections of credentialed FB collections into portable cases. This is by far the best looking production since you can click on a post entry and look at in html view with likes and comments. I emailed Magnet and they said they are working on adding public profiles in the future.

Dear coleagues

My answer is x1 or axiom which is using api technologies and just text based not similar for real forensic acquiring. These tools are just for ediscovery purposes TEXT BASED

My answer for tomoko discovery and pagevault or etc is you are uploading your secret investigation content just to get secure screenshot or hash this is not secure and not forensically sound because company can do everything

I am prepearing facebook software

If you are using both of this solutions the prosecutor and jugdges and suspect will continue where did you take this screen shot how did you take it are you using photoshop or etc …

Social media investigation must be like WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET you have to reconstruct from real source. And every social media has different structure.

My tool is like tableau FORENSIC DUPLICATOR.you can acquire like hard drive.

It has evidence container image file with twt file extention and also downloading real html file.It calculates hash and taking real screenshots every tweet or facebook post.Every evidence has timestamp. Database has also has hash including hashes as you see video below. It has forensic ınvestigator friendly user interface. You can count user ids at once for furher investigations and exporting xml for big cases.
