All,
My company is looking to benchmark data preservation procedures for employees who are terminated for cause in a corporate setting. We prepared a quick survey and would appreciate your response.
Thanks!

Doug, nicely done. A good survey on an important topic. I hope you'll be able to share some summary conclusions with the forum.
As a solo practitioner, it's not particularly applicable to me, so I didn't complete it. However, I noticed that the editing on the final question isn't quite finished. Here's how it reads
"What is the primary for of media used for storage of terminated employees data?"
Best of luck.
Doug,
Is this something that you're trying to do for internal purposes, or is it something that you're putting together for a customer?
keydet89 - This is something I am doing internally in a corporate setting with approximately 10,000 employees.

Question A would seem to be a bit of a problem, since companies that don't preserve data for every departing employee would still generally have to deal with preservation for employees who leave under a lit hold. I'd be surprised if the majority of people don't tick C and enter "lit hold".
Also, are you intending on sharing the results of your findings in this forum? I know I would appreciated it if you did, and others likely would also.
