I am looking to find the best available training for PDA and Mobile Telephone forensic analysis within the UK if at all possible. Any pointers to the best provider with contact details would be appreciated. I work for a large corporate business, so the LE route is out, I believe.

I know you mentioned that you are not LE, but have you considered contacting NSLEC?
I know they have some *very* skilled pda/cell examiners/instructors.

While they are an LE training organization, they might be able to point you to private sources of training, and barring that, I *think* that they have entertained including private sector students in their classes, but I'm sure that would depend on who you work for (IT industry vs. criminal defense).

Just a thought.

Thank you for the response, I will give NSLEC a call, 90% of our work is LE so hopefully they will see past the civilian thing.

once again many thanks

Paraben in the US is the only one I know bigtez492. The NSLEC course is always over subscribed.

1. Paraben do provide training in the UK if you are prepared to pay for the additional travel costs. (At least tthey used to). It involved a telephone conversation; a guarantee that there would be 8 paying delegates; and the purchase of the software.

2. Forensic Telecommunications Services specialise in phones and PDAs. I cannot vouch for their training but you may wish to give them a call.
