Ok… so I was posed this question by a friend of mine. His son is interested in CyberCrime and while he doesn't want to spend SANS money on the kid, he wants to see if the kid has the aptitude for something like this.
He brought up a CyberCrime Investigator course on Udemy.

Has anyone heard of IFCI?
Has anyone taken this course or heard of it?
Brian Hussey has good credentials.
The cost of the class seems decent for someone wanting to dip their toe in it and the topics seem to be quite extensive.
I would appreciate any pros, cons on this course. Please keep in mind the end-user of this course is the kid (well… in 20s). I know I will get some honest feedback from this group. )
Thank you all

Brian Hussey has good credentials.
Has he? ?
Not at all doubting those credentials, only curious about how you arrived to that conclusion.
Anyway you could have a look at some of the (freely viewable) videos here
https://
They are part of the "homework" for this course by Mr. Hussey at George Mason University (which seemingly uses the same Udemy material BTW)

All in all I would say that for a few hundreds of US$ it seems worth it.

Thanks Jaclaz… my point was that Brian seems to have been a practitioner more so than someone who has learned from a book only.
I did find the videos - thanks. Some are anemic and hopefully the ones on the actual course are more substantive…. and yes for $300 it is worth the look… even if the content is just cursory. Appreciate the feedback.
Anyone else got any input? Buehler… Buehler….
