Afternoon all,

I have the option to take an internship in my third year but am really unsure how 'good' i actually am at the moment. Its not just me, its the whole class who feel under prepared for an internship.

I'm a hard worker and eager to learn but at uni we have only just started to look at hands on forensics (It has mainly been focused on the law around it). So i feel if i go to an interview, i'm not going to be able to get a placement. We also have to find the placement ourselves, so a placement isn't guaranteed. I know if i get a placement it would really benefit me as i am a ' learn by doing' person. But, I'm worried if i choose to the placement option and do not get one, i'm going to be given a subject i don't want / like.

Also, i'm based in Thanet and forensic companies are in short supply around here.

Any thoughts on what i should do?

Thanks in advance
