Software / Hardware Quality Assurance Tester

Job Title: Software Tester
Location: Horsham
Hours: 37.5 hrs. per week
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic, talented professional Quality Assurance Software / Hardware Tester to support the development team in delivering quality, best-in-class software and hardware. The ideal person will already have experience in software / hardware testing have a strong knowledge and understanding of testing disciplines and be able to analyse, define and improve upon existing business processes. The Tester will investigate specifications or user stories for completeness and testability.
Responsibilities:
• System set up and software testing
• Fault replication and analysis
• Test software fixes
• Design and implement Test Plans
• Effectively communicate your findings to senior staff and development staff
• Assist with general tasks as necessary to facilitate the company’s effectiveness
• Work professionally and harmoniously with colleagues, senior management and directors
• Carry out your duties in a manner designed to enhance the customer experience at all times
You must have:
• Excellent communication skills and be a great team player
• A keen interest in technology and programming
• The ability to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• Experience of C#, Python, HTML & C++ is desired but not essential
• Understanding of ISO9001 is desired but not essential
Start date: ASAP.
Salary: £20,000-£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
