Advanced Discovery is a leading London based independent provider of eDiscovery and legal support services. Our team are a hardworking and enthusiastic group that includes qualified lawyers, forensic investigators and experienced litigation support professionals.
We pride ourselves on being available 24/7, 365 days a year to our clients who expect the highest level of service and quality. Our clients include UK and global law firms, large corporations and government agencies.
Due to growth, a need has been created for an additional Senior Forensic Analyst. You will be working in a team of forensic and eDiscovery experts to maintain Advanced Discovery’s high standards in the area of eDiscovery document handling and processing. You will be expected to:
• Work closely with the Project Management Team to acquire data for project processing, delivery and analysis.
• Work closely with the Forensic Team, ESI and Consultants to provide sound forensic analysis, up to, and including producing witness statements or court evidence.
• Maintain accurate notes relating to the acquisition, processing and delivery of data in accordance with our robust QA procedures.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Essential Skills:
• Knowledge of computer systems, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Forensic Computing knowledge including a detailed knowledge of the ACPO Guidelines, data collection and preservation techniques.
• Proven record of forensic collections, investigations, precise contemporaneous notes, and report writing.
• Must be available for international travel.
• Cellebrite or other mobile phone collection experience or certification.
Preferred Skills:
• More than 2 years within the Digital Forensics and Investigations or eDiscovery industries.
• More than 2 years working knowledge of any of the following: Encase, FTK, X-Ways Forensics, Nuix, Cellebrite, IEF.
• More than 2 years’ experience in forensic acquisition and imaging using: Encase, FTK Imager, Tableau Hardware Imagers, WinFE, Linux forensic boot CDs, etc.
• Forensic computing or security related certifications. For example EnCE, ACE, X-Pert, GCFE.
• Ability to script or programme in any of the following languages (or comparable): Ruby, Python, PERL, Bash Shell, SQL.
Background / Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• The candidate may also be required to successfully be vetted for UK Government security clearance or other EU standards.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, additional language(s) an advantage.
Remuneration
• Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications
