Oww, come on Smile , don't be so mercenary, there is parking and subsidized gym included in the packet Wink :

Additional Benefits:

On-site parking, subsidised gym, flexible working, contributory pension, childcare vouchers and career progression opportunities with the force.

not only the prospect of "career progression opportunities" is priceless, but if you review the attached .docx:
The annual leave entitlement is XX days with a further 5 days after 5 years continuous service.

XX and XX+5 days are fairly attractive.

though I am more perplexed by the width of the "advertised" salary range:
Advertised Salary
£25,062 - £35,703

the same job can seemingly be paid 2/3 to 1/1 of the "max", and by the use of the adjective "advertised", what does it actually mean? Confused

Is that 15K from the bottom or the top of the advertised salary?

Woefully low salary, practically insulting to only offer 25 k for that role. I would also imagine its a starting point at 25 k from which there will be minimal if any initial negotiation and you only get to 35 k with small yearly increments after spending ~ 10 years there.

To be the ISO17025 Scapegoat (sorry, 'Technical Manager') I'd want at least £40-£45k a year...

ISO 17025 Scrapegoat should be the job title. Especially if you want someone to do CCTV, Digital, Phones etc. Chances are whoever you get won;t have enough experience (if any) in all those areas.
