The Role

• To assist in the maintenance of the digital investigations units’ ISO 17025 roadmap.
• To support the day to day running’s of the Digital Investigations Unit

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Assist in the maintaining of quality assurance within the DIU by regularly reviewing documentation to promote continuous improvement and utilising the efficiency of new technical tools and techniques.
• Adhere to all aspects of the customer operational protocols and Eurofins Quality Manual
• Support of Business Account Managers/Business Development Managers in presentations, exhibitions and white papers where needed.
• Support clients with accreditation assistance where necessary
• Booking in and out of exhibits,
• Collating of management information from C-LIMS/LIMA
• Liaising with customers

Role Dimensions

• This role is a hybrid position which will fuse technical and accreditation aspects and will have administrative responsibilities.

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

• IT/Telecoms and/or Forensics background is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail
• High levels of concentration whilst working under pressure
• Good organisational and communication skills
• High levels of personal resilience
• Quick learner
• Ability to work in a forensic environment to the highest ethical standards
• Knowledge of Digital forensic software
• Ability to work independently but also promptly escalate case issues/findings to the Investigator
• An inquisitive mind and aptitude to independently solve problems pro-actively


Preferred Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

• An understanding of 17025 infrastructure
• Experience and knowledge of validation
• Previous experience in working with a LIMS / CLIMS system
• Experience in dealing with customers
• Experience of working in a forensic environment

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance will be required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have three years continuous residency in the UK. Criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance. This role may in addition require random alcohol/drug screening.
