e-Discovery Digital Forensics Analyst in Atlanta Fortune 500

It's Contract-To-Hire. Lot of Forensics tools used, such as enCase and FTK. Chance to also do work on the Forensics team side if interested. $100,000+ position. Looking to hire within 4 weeks. PM me for details.

The eDiscovery Digital Forensics Analyst role will provide technical services to the Cybersecurity department. The position is responsible for providing electronically stored information (ESI), automating collections, and performing tasks as assigned by the e-Discovery Manager.

Responsibilities May Include
• Performs data acquisition and preservation utilizing forensically sound methodologies and industry accepted best practices in support of retrieving, recovering, and preserving digital evidence for litigation and government regulatory requests
• Implement appropriate ESI preservation procedures
• Review and validate incoming evidence files/formats using Relativity
• Backup, log, and stage collected evidence for litigation or forensic processing
• Provide summary reports and statuses to the e-Discovery Manager and the Legal Litigation department
• Serves as Subject Matter Expert for collection of ESI for eDiscovery purposes
• Collaborates with Digital Forensics and Search Coordinator to perform analysis and collection of ESI
• Suggest and execute innovative solutions to improve eDiscovery capability, simplify operations, and overcome eDiscovery challenges
• Provides training when appropriate

Basic/Required
• Associate’s Degree or higher
• 5+ years combined experience in Legal eDiscovery, Digital Forensics, and/or Information Technology
Preferred
• 2+ years working specifically with Office 365 tools supporting eDiscovery related activities
• eDiscovery & Forensics certifications (i.e. ACEDS, EnCE, ACE, CCME, etc.)
• Strong understanding of the eDiscovery process and methodology (EDRM)
• Demonstrated experience using EnCase, FTK, and Open Source methods and tools to perform computer forensic investigations
• Firm understanding of chain of custody (CoC) procedures; forensic best practices, and evidence handling and preservation
• Experience with litigation support and data processing software such as EnCase eDiscovery, Relativity, and OnPointe
• PowerShell experience for continuing to drive new efficiencies with Office 365 and digital collections
• Proficient in the use of encryption, both hardware and software
• Background with legalities and technical requirements surrounding electronic discovery and analysis
• Experience in cloud infrastructure and services
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 / 10, Windows Server, MS Active Directory, Office 365 and MS Exchange.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision effectively and efficiently
• Clear understanding and recognition that work schedule is ultimately determined by attorney needs, and may involve after-hours, weekends, and or travel
• Familiarity with products such as EMC Discovery Manager, DTSearch, FTK Imager
• Use of digital forensics products, such as write blockers and Axiom software
• Detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to develop/follow standard processes and complete documentation as needed

GL to you.
This is the first post I've seen in the US where it doesn't appear they are trying to piece together DFIR and investigations with ediscovery. 3 very different animals.
