Digital Forensics Manager

Summary of Role:
As a Digital Forensics Manager you will hold overall responsibility for the management of the forensic laboratory at the Portsmouth based facility including managing multiple aspects of specific client matters, from workflow initiation, through completion and relationship management. On a day to day basis you will also have your own digital forensic workload to undertake as well as providing support to other aspects of the business.

As Fusion are an ISO 9001:2015 registered Company and actively working towards compliance with ISO 17025, you will be required to adhere to the Management System and Company procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead on the management of a wide range of forensic analysis cases including large and complex matters.
• Utilise industry standard and bespoke software to access, extract and analyse data from electronic evidence sources.
• Manage team efforts to apply analytical skills and leverage existing methodologies to various client situations and practice disciplines and create novel customised solutions to meet shifting client needs
• Responsible for day to day activities of projects including co-ordination and interaction with other consultants, supervisors and client personnel to ensure a seamless client service
• Be customer focused to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary
• Identify and lead Business development opportunities through the sales cycle

Full Time

Starting at £36,500+ (dependent on experience)

Academic/Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or extensive experience/certification in cyber / digital forensics or a related field.

Attributes and Experience:
• Excellent understanding of IT and Network Technology;
• At least 3 years current commercial, legal and police casework experience;
• Successful management of digital forensic investigations;
• Proficiency with contemporary forensic software suites such as FTK, EnCase; Magnet IEF, Cellebrite UFED, Forensic Explorer; Familiarity with Windows, Macintosh and Linux/UNIX operating systems;
• Familiarity with a wide range of mobile phones and computers;
• Proven knowledge of Cyber Forensics and Incident Response practices;
• Fundamental knowledge of both live and offline acquisition techniques;
• Fundamental knowledge of memory analysis;
• Experience preparing and presenting expert evidence in court;
• Previous team management experience;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• MS Excel/Word;
• Full UK driving licence.

Security Clearance:
Applicants must be currently and permanently resident in the UK and have been for at least 3 years. The successful candidates will be required to undergo CRB and CTC security vetting.
