As a consultant who regularly supports law enforcement during raids/visits to suspect’s premises, I wondered what other colleagues would do when they saw that the law enforcement team that had hired them were not following the correct legal procedures.
Obviously, we all want everything to be done perfectly so it does not come back to haunt us later in the case. But we don't want to embarrass the client by correcting them, especially in front of the suspect and during what can be a stressful situation. Has anyone else been in this situation and how did they handle it?
