eMac Acquisition

Post Posted: Apr 02, 09 14:30

We've got an old eMac in the office and I'd like to have a good browse of it and image it as a practice mac drive for keeping fresh on mac investigations

I've tried imaging it using F-Responce with no success as I think it will only work on intel based macs (I could be wrong)

I've also tried using target disk mode using macdrive and only ppicked up a tiny partition through EnCase

Apart from taking its jet engine like construction apart (which I have had to do before and would like to avoid ever EVER doing again) does anyone have any idea's how I could acquire this drive, short of using another mac (which I don't have access to at this particular moment in time)

Any help would be much appreciated
