Book review

Post Posted: Oct 21, 05 18:44

Has anyone read: Gray Hat Hacking : The Ethical Hacker's Handbook ?
ISBN : 0072257091

It was on a suggested reading list and the description sounded interesting. Can anyone comment on the writing style or the content?

Yes, I have it and have read it. The content is fairly technical (as you would expect) and covers the content in some depth. The style is definitely a study book - you would not read this in bed (unless you were as sad as me). If the topic interests you and you have some basic understanding this is a very good book. Probably not a first book on the subject - (try antihacker toolkit).
