I have one on order to evaluate.

Curiously; one thing i have noticed is that it seems as though the 'stick' tools on this site seem to be the same as the products sold by Paraben; the only difference is that the tools at brickhouse are branded iBOT, etc some reason. I suspect these are the same tools rebranded

Compare the features of the product you refer to both on paraben and the other site

http//www.paraben-sticks.com/irecovery-stick.html

http//www.brickhousesecurity.com/iphone-spy-data-recovery-stick.html

There are other tools such as Chat stick etc, that also appear to be rebranded on this site.

Q Does Paraben OEM their tools to 3rd parties or did the 3rd party OEM their tools to Paraben?

I called Paraben and asked them and they resell their technology to Brickhouse as well as others who add their own names. So, this is Paraben technology just being sold by someone else.

Wanted to bump this up. Would anyone be able to provide feedback on Paraben's iRecovery Stick or it's clones?

Thanks in advance!

A price tag of 200 bucks is quite attractive. Can anyone give a review of this product and just how good is it at recovering deleted data? I'm sure Paraben thinks they are great at it, but it would be nice to hear from someone that has been using it in the field.

Cheers!

I have one but it doesn't work very well, takes long hours to complete analysis.

There is an updated software version; I'll try it and write a review…

I read these posts prior to another unit in my department buying this (tired of waiting for a check to get cut for something more 'forensically sound')

It has now been passed back my way and I have used it a few times. Not sure I have enough experience to give an absolute opinion on it's functionality.

I can however tell you that if you have an iPhone running iOS V 6 or greater, don't waste your money. I spent all day, trying this on three different machines before I finally called Brickhouse. The 'support' person I spoke with advised that the stick does not work with iOS 6 or greater and they don't' expect an update for at least three or four months.

Maybe this will convince those with the mighty signatures for forensic software to cut loose of some money.
