I have been reading with some interest about the new Kindle Fire from Amazon. One of the items of note from a forensic perspective is in regard to the Silk browser.

I read Amazon will maintain an open connection between Silk on the Fire and its Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service, and will act as a middle-man proxy on all page requests.

Has anyone worked with Amazon to collect data from EC2 for any other issues?

VERY interesting from a DFIR perspective on what is cached remotely. Where do I plug in my write blocker to the cloud? And from the perspective of how it is spidering ahead to crawl and cache, will we be able to ascertain gray matter intent from machine?
