I have just come across a very recently published paper on Facebook forensics that some of you may be interested in. I am not affiliated in any way with the authors but it has some interesting points within. The link will take you directly to the PDF download.

Thanks Redcelica.
I don't like this paper. The 'success' it describes is simply finding remnants of text in memory/cache locations. No effort made on how to reconstruct conversations/activity from such places - just "we found the data here" type of thing.
But it's a jumping off point. Thing is Facebook changes so frequently nowadays that it's very hard to keep up with all the optimizations and features etc.
I agree with some of your comments there Pbobby. Facebook is a nightmare for users to keep up with, let alone us forensics people. Definitely a paper than prompts further research I think.
