SUMMARY:CP.3 Conference
DESCRIPTION:In an era where cybercrime continues to evolve and digital evidence becomes a cornerstone of modern investigations. That’s why we organise the Cybercrime.3 – Technologies (CP.3) conference scheduled for 26th–27th March 2025 at the Police Academy in Szczytno\, Poland. \n\n\n\nThe upcoming event offers an ideal opportunity for Polish law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to explore improvements required in modern policing. CP.3 is set to bring together key stakeholders to address challenges and opportunities posed by digital crime. \n\n\n\nThe conference continues the efforts of the annual scientific conference PTXXI-2024\, which took place in May at the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia. \n\n\n\nThe conference caters for representatives of law enforcement agencies\, state administration\, financial and insurance sectors also interested in gathering and processing digital evidence. Through exchanging experiences\, we aim to enrich participants’ knowledge of modern technologies and good practices to prevent and combat cyber-related crimes. \n\n\n\nAmong the speakers\, in addition to representatives of law enforcement agencies and government administration\, there will also be experts in cybersecurity as well as companies providing the latest organisational and technical solutions to support the identification\, prevention\, and combating of this type of crime. \n\n\n\nAs with previous editions of CP events\, we expect roughly 150 participants- ranging from technical to strategic positions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn through presentations and dedicated workshops aimed for specific groups. Exhibition stands will provide an additional space to connect with industry suppliers and research projects. \n\n\n\nDue to the event’s international nature\, the organisers provide simultaneous translation from English to Polish.

SUMMARY:2025 Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Multimedia Forensics and Disinformation Detection
DESCRIPTION:The second edition of the AI4MFDD workshop is intended to disseminate recent developments in AI-enabled multimedia forensics and disinformation detection methods. Multimedia data carries value not only in its content but also in digital forensics for combating crimes and fraudulent activities. Deliberate manipulations of multimedia content for malicious purposes have been a prevailing problem in many walks of life. \n\n\n\nWith the phenomenal leap of AI and machine learning (deep learning in particular) in recent years\, realistically forged multimedia data is appearing as disinformation and fake news that are impacting social justice at the personal level\, major political campaigns at the national level\, and the stability of international relationships at the global level. \n\n\n\nThe AI4MFDD 2025 workshop will facilitate synergies in research and development in the areas of multimedia forensics and disinformation detection by attracting international participants from academia\, law enforcement\, industry\, and end-users.
