I am looking for a way to repair the firmware on a corrupted drive? Does anyone have any ideas? I would enjoy a software option, but I am open to hardware also.

Have you heard of the PC3000 card? A Russian company manufactures it and it is specifically for hard disk repairs. Most of the documentation I have seen is in Russian.

I don't have one yet but have been planning on getting one for quite some time.

PC3k is the only way I know the average Joe can rewrite firmware.
